The FACE Awards encourages residents and business owners to improve and renovate their properties, contributing to a cleaner, more attractive environment. The second effort focuses on art installations in public places, which will add immediate appeal while recognizing and promoting local artists and honoring the rich and storied history of Bedford County through commissioned works of art. The third focus of the beautification committee is eradicating blight from our neighborhoods.

The Shelbyville-Bedford Partnership Community Foundation has formed a committee focused on beautifying Shelbyville and Bedford County. The FACE PROJECT committee develops programs that honor and promote the enhancement of private properties and public spaces via three primary efforts.
