Carroll O’Brien
Partner, Taylor & Mathis

Carroll offers the accumulated experience and insight gleaned from 40 years of service to Taylor & Mathis in the development, marketing and management of office, industrial and mixed-use projects in both the Atlanta and Birmingham markets. Among her many responsibilities, she served as General Manager of Perimeter Center, a 3.5 million-square-foot office park and mixed-use project, and as General Manager of TownPark, also an office and retail campus. A native of Murfreesboro, she earned an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt and an MBA from Emory University.

Chad Graham
Mayor, Bedford County

The first Republican Mayor of Bedford County, Chad has spent more than 20 years serving the County in various roles: As the Director of Emergency Medical Services, as a 7th District School Board member, and as president of the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association. As EMS director, he built a nationally ranked, high-performance, Advanced Life Support EMS system before he transitioned to become a practice administer for a local physician group. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1985 and served in the United States Army before graduating University of Alabama-Huntsville’s paramedic program.

David Coffey
President, Nationwide Express

David Coffey brings more than 30 years of sales, marketing, and operational experience to his role as President of Nationwide Express. The key to his success has been his reliance upon strategic vision, reacting to changing economic conditions as necessary and recognizing the importance of collaboration with customers to drive sustainable relationships. Before joining the private sector, he graduated from the University of Tennessee’s School of Transportation and Logistics, then served in the U.S. Military, first as a United States Army Infantry Officer and then as a Special Agent in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).

Ewing Wallace Cartwright
Mayor, City of Shelbyville

Now serving his third term as Shelbyville Mayor, Ewing also offers the business expertise derived from more than 52 years in the construction industry, both as a founder of his own general contracting firm from 1956 to 1980, and as a sales representative for National Gypsum Company.  A native of Shelbyville, he graduated from Shelbyville High School before attending Middle Tennessee State College (now MTSU) and studying real estate at Motlow State Community College.

Gary P. Fayard

Gary is a senior financial executive with Fortune 100 global experience. He has 20 years of leadership experience with a $175+ billion global consumer products company, leading a global finance organization of 8,000 associates in 70+ countries. He was responsible for financial reporting (SEC and local GAAP), planning and analysis, M&A, treasury, tax, investor relations, internal audit, shared services, risk management, real estate and IT. He also has 19 years of public accounting experience leading engagements in financial services, consumer products, manufacturing and airlines.

Henry Feldhaus III
Vice Mayor, Shelbyville

Currently the Vice Mayor of Shelbyville, Henry is a long-term public servant, having already served multiple terms as councilman and two terms as mayor, as well as serving on virtually every board and committee associated with Shelbyville government. He graduated from The University of Tennessee in Business Administration with a degree in Industrial Management in 1976 and earned an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating first in his class. He and his wife Jenni, who is a CPA and certified financial planner, currently own and operate Feldhaus Investor Services where they are SEC licensed financial analysts and stockbrokers.

Jeff Sweeney
Owner, Sweeney Construction

Jeff comes to his role as County Commissioner and Director of Construction for Bedford County with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Owner of Sweeney Construction and a general contractor with more than 35 years’ experience, Jeff has developed deep and broad experience in all aspects of the construction process. He began his career while he was still in high school working for his grandfather’s construction business, and to date, he has built more than 4,000 homes in multiple states for a variety of clients, with projects that have won awards in Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida.
